Responsibilities

  • Develop urban design and planning concepts and translate them into clear and compelling graphic images;

  • Develop innovative design solutions responding to the concept and effectively addressing the social, legal, and economic implications of the physical form;

  • Develop design in response to technical problems posed by a project’s scope;

  • Evaluate, select, and apply standard urban design techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications on projects;

  • Complete drafting assignments;

  • Conduct research and analysis as needed for a project;

  • Compile data, perform design computations, and prepare plans and renderings;

  • Assist in the preparation of production of models, marketing material, and presentation packages for public/private review;

  • Assist project manager or senior level staff in developing a design strategy;

  • Attend meetings both inside and outside the firm pertaining to existing and potential projects;

  • Provide additional support to ensure smooth execution of projects; and

  • Enforce ethics and compliance policy including Third Party payment, Sub-consultancy engagement process and Gift and Entertainment policy.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Architecture or Master Degree in Urban Design or Landscape Architecture;

  • Excellent design, visualization, and graphic skills;

  • Expertise in Adobe Design CS, AutoCAD and Sketch Up or Rhino;

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills;

  • Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team; and

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin
