Job Description
APAC Expense Accountant
Main Accountabilities
- Perform general accounting & month end close
- Prepare general ledge entries, including payroll, taxes, transfer pricing etc.
- Prepare expenses accruals journals
- Prepare prepayment/amortization journals
- Prepare intercompany expense recharge journals and invoices
- Prepare GRS processing and allocation
- Prepare compensation and benefits journals
- Evaluate processes and recommends and implements process improvements
- Assists with implementation of new systems where appropriate
- Support financial system upgrade projects
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor degree or above, major in Accounting or Finance
- 1+ year working experience in Accounting or Finance is preferred
Skills/Knowledge Requirements
- Proficiency in general accounting and double-entry
- Have strong responsibility, honest and positive attitude towards the job
- Proactive, reflective and can learn quickly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels and departments within the company
- Fluent English skills, including listening, reading, writing and speaking
- Korean or Japanese language skill is a plus
- Strong Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage deliverables
- Experience of working in a global environment is preferred
- Be proficient with accounting system is preferred
- Shared Service Center experience is preferred
