Job Description

APAC Expense Accountant

Main Accountabilities

  • Perform general accounting & month end close
  • Prepare general ledge entries, including payroll, taxes, transfer pricing etc.
  • Prepare expenses accruals journals
  • Prepare prepayment/amortization journals
  • Prepare intercompany expense recharge journals and invoices
  • Prepare GRS processing and allocation
  • Prepare compensation and benefits journals
  • Evaluate processes and recommends and implements process improvements
  • Assists with implementation of new systems where appropriate
  • Support financial system upgrade projects

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above, major in Accounting or Finance
  • 1+ year working experience in Accounting or Finance is preferred

Skills/Knowledge Requirements

  • Proficiency in general accounting and double-entry
  • Have strong responsibility, honest and positive attitude towards the job
  • Proactive, reflective and can learn quickly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels and departments within the company
  • Fluent English skills, including listening, reading, writing and speaking
  • Korean or Japanese language skill is a plus
  • Strong Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage deliverables
  • Experience of working in a global environment is preferred
  • Be proficient with accounting system is preferred
  • Shared Service Center experience is preferred
