As a member of International Group Finance team to be responsible for the preparation of key management accounting information for the group. The role will involve liaison with other functional and business professionals including sales management, the Group taxation manager and General Managers of selected sites.

 

·         Preparation of aspects of the monthly management accounts and departmental profitability statements and analysis of causal trends in business performance

·         Responsible for the production and distribution of Group foreign exchange rates and the analysis of the foreign exchange transactions of the group

·         The opportunity to act as accounting representative to at least one network office

·         Preparation of monthly sales performance and related working capital management

·         Preparation and maintenance of group summary of InformationTechnology expenditures

·         Support the International Controller in the preparation of selected disclosures and analyses for direct use in the SDL Group financial statements 

·         Review of sales performance and sourcing of lead generation    

·         Support the International Controller in the preparation of the group’s operational budget, control and manage key inputs to budget process

·         Respond to the International Controller on key pieces of analysis and present and discuss conclusions reached  

 

·         Strong mathematics or business studies qualification

·         Strong Excel skills

·         Experience in a finance function will be advantageous

·         Good understanding of the mechanics of consolidation

·         Ability to present and analyse reports for senior management

 

·         Interest in fast moving technology or service businesses beneficial 

·         Desire to study for ACCA or CIMA
