- Hong Kong : regional office of Asia Pacific region
- Main market : Hong Kong, China & Asia Pacific region
- We are looking for REGIONAL TECHNICAL & MARKETING MANAGER - with details as follows :
THE JOB :
- Report to the English speaking Head of Marketing Asia
- Manage Marketing Team of 2 subordinates in HK office; and Technical Team of 4 Chemists in China office
- Responsible for developing 3YS NPD pipeline for the region working closely with the global team and local teams (from consumer’s insights until product launch)
- Lead NPD implementation using the gate process for regional launches from end to end working together with a multifunctional team to ultimately deliver the best product possible in the most efficient way.
- Work together with regional head of marketing to translate ASIA’S strategy into NPD’s pipeline.
- Lead the ASIA gate process and keep regular update to key stakeholders on all regional projects.
- Responsible for product performance tests, new product formulations and any other product tests. Lead a technical team of 4 chemists based in China.
- Bachelor's degree on chemical engineer (or similar) or above.
- Minimum of 5 years as technical and marketing manager ideally in building materials industry or any similar industries.
- Familiar with big organization system and Marketing operation;
- Strong experience in New Product Development process (has to show proven track record on successful launches)
- Strong project management skill and have experience of working with cross functions;
- Strong experience on identifying market insights and translate them into winning product concepts.
- Strong technical skills.
- Strong project management skills to keep on track and deliver projects on time.
- Familiar with building material industry and different technologies will be a plus.
- Fluent in oral and written English
- Strong ability to translate complex insights / strategies into simple solutions for consumers.
- 5 days work (Mon to Fri 9:00am - 5:30pm)
- Annual leave : 14 days
