- European garment buying office carrying own brand name for own retail chain in France & Europe
- Headquarters & design center : France
- Vendor factories : China & SE Asian countries
- Main market : France & Europe
- Minor market : American & Asia
- We are looking for ASST QA MANAGER – with details as follows :
THE JOB :
- Report to the Head of Regional Quality Assurance
- Manage a small QA teams in offshore countries to provide QA inspection services and solution on production;
- Establish quality and performance strategies and procedures;
- Provide training support to new suppliers, local QC and merchandising team;
- Develops corrective and preventative actions for vendors;
- Prepare the reports and analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the QA system
- Post secondary education or Diploma holder in garment textile or related discipline is preferred;
- At least 10 years' relevant quality management experience from apparel sourcing office manufacturing industry
- Strong sense on AQL 2.5 standard and product knowledge for all items of apparel products
- With extensive knowledge on supplier networking and solid understanding of suppliers' capabilities;
- Expertise in washing and finishing including formulations & troubleshooting for woven;
- Good negotiation and written communication skills;
- Proficient in spoken English and Mandarin;
- Strong computer knowledge and MS Office applications (ie. Excel and Word);
- Work based in HK office with frequent travel to China & offshore countries (i.e. Bangladesh, Cambodia, Vietnam and Myanmar & etc);
- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
- 5 days work
- Annual leave : 12 days
