Job Description
Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and equipment, has an immediate opening for an Assurance Program Manager.

You will be responsible for conducting compliance audits of Air Products facilities with regulations and internal standards in health and safety programs, including compliance with federal, state, and local process safety and process risk management regulations, and for assessing and communicating the relative risk of noncompliance found during audits.

When designated as “Lead Auditor,” you will plan and arrange the logistical details of assigned facility Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) audits, lead the on-site portion of the audit, conduct the detailed on-site review of compliance with designated EH&S functional areas which may include employee health, worker safety, industrial hygiene, transportation safety, and process safety regulations and internal standards, and develop and distribute a formal EH&S audit report for each audit. On other audits where you are designated an “audit team member,” you will conduct the detailed on-site review of the designated EH&S functional areas as part of the larger audit team. • Communicate audit issues and trends in the above EH&S functional areas to appropriate members of the Worker Safety, Process Safety and Global Operations teams and work with those teams to develop appropriate action plans and solutions.
