We are pleased to offer an Internship starting as early as January 6, 2020 or soon thereafter at BMW of North America, LLC.

Internship - Aftersales Technologies

As an intern, you will get in-depth understanding of Aftersales strategies at BMW of North America. You will get an overview in cooperating with external partners like service suppliers as well as internal partners in Parts, Technical Service, IT or Financial Services and an overview in standards as well as policies and procedures. Your main tasks will be to support the project managers in fulfillment of their duties. As an intern, you will be responsible for projects and tasks in the area of project management, pilot planning, application testing, rollout tracking, database management, project status monitoring and reporting and implementation of communication concepts, here in particular the preparation and production of video tutorials. Additionally to several projects, he/she will cooperate with project team members from different departments, document the project results and follow-up open issue lists to make sure that the project stays on track.

Student status meeting one or more of the areas below:

  • Enrolled in Bachelor’s Studies during Junior/Senior year (years 3 or 4)
  • Enrolled in Master’s Studies Program
  • Graduated no more than 12 months prior to internship start date
  • Prior internship and/or relevant work experience
  • Availability to work full-time

Preferred Requirements:

  • Preferred fields of study: Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Engineering Management, Business Administration
  • Concentration: Automotive engineering, electronics or IT preferred but not mandatory
  • Additional Skills: Microsoft Office mandatory, strong IT background required
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology, JIRA/Confluence tools and SCRUM, a plus
  • Attributes: Analytical, hands-on, responsible, process oriented, ability to work independently and as a part of a team as well as self-motivated.
  • Languages: English (very good, oral and written)
