Luminous Academy is an English Training Center in Nanjing. Currently we are teaching children from ages 3-12. As we grow larger, we will implement more classes for older students, which is where we hope you can eventually help us with, to help students with the Cambridge fluency exams, the iELTS, TOEFL, and even SAT prep for those intending to travel abroad for university in America and Canada.

Our classes are taught only by Native Speakers which helps to create a more natural English environment for the students as this is the best way for our students to learn. Quality is our main priority with classes, so we train the teachers to be as good as possible, and allow them to use their own teaching methods integrated with our curriculum once they are comfortable with the material. Foreign Teachers are completely in control of the classroom while the Chinese staff handle everything outside the classroom and communicate with parents. We also don't allow unruly students to corrupt the classroom; the teacher holds the right to ask the student to leave.

Details:
30-35 working hours, (Teachers are free to leave when they have completed their work, working hours are not counted) Wednesday through Sunday, Monday and Tuesday off.
Teach 40-minute lessons, up to 8 students per class, class age range 3-12.

14-20k RMB/month After Tax depending on prior experience

Native English Speaker (US, UK, CAN, AUS, NZ, SA)
Bachelor's degree
TEFL certificate (or equivalent)
Valid Passport
Prior experience preferred, but not required
