The Planner is responsible for efficient and effective planning and scheduling of BSI resources to conduct audit activities. This results in ensuring that BSI maintains its designation as a certification body, notified body, auditing organization and clients who maintain their compliance to certification requirements. The Planner provides support to field-based operations staff who complete audits on behalf of BSI by planning and maintaining the diary schedules for designated clients and staff.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Use the required tools for the job such as SAP, Outlook and other BSI business management systems
  • As required, facilitate support for answers from technical review, scheme managers, legal and other departments to assist with questions or issues with clients
  • Act as a liaison for certification review team to resolve certification issues and update clients on certificate status
  • Planning new and ongoing client audits
  • To enact audit programs for sampled locations as prepared by the audit staff
  • Balance a variety of tasks and handle queries from field-based operations, sales staff and clients
  • Assist sales and operations management in managing the customer journey through the planning of the audit process and subsequent actions following audits
  • Processing planning related change requests from clients and auditors via SAP

The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years customer service experience is desired
  • Minimum 1-year planning/scheduling/logistics experience is an advantage
  • SAP knowledge a plus
  • Logistics background is desirable
  • Medical Device regulation knowledge an advantage but not essential
  • Bi-Lingual in French is a plus

Travel:

  • 0-10% travel required

Hours

  • 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM or 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM are required
