Job Description

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Assistant Human Resources Manager will develop partnership and synergy with Department Heads, identify and provide solutions, advices and professional supports to department on HR related issues. He/She will support the achievement of Strategic HR Plan and align HR services and standards across the Agency through collaboration with departments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in daily HR services including recruitment & selection, on-boarding, cessation of employment and staff movement
  • Strive to enhance client services on HR issues to departments
  • Review and maintain the HR workflows to ensure smoothness of daily HR operations for the Agency
  • Prepare related HR reports and analysis
  • Observe closely development of labour market and best practice in HR for continuous improvement in HR service at professional level
  • Support and assist in HR projects
  • Performs other duties or HR projects as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Well versed in HK Employment Ordinance and other related legislation
  • Demonstrated competence in analytical decision making and strategic planning
  • Sound coordination, interpersonal, communication and people leadership skills with high integrity
  • Self-motivated, solution-oriented, well-organized and able to work under pressure
  • Good command of English and Chinese, both written and oral (including Putonghua)
  • Immediately available is preferred
