Job Description
UBS Business Solutions US LLC seeks Associate Directors, HR Americas Regional Reward Leads in Nashville, TN to serve as primary reward contact in the Americas region for HR Business Partners, and recruiting and HR advisory and manage relationship with HR Country Heads for SMCs. Develop, sustain, and leverage internal networks and technical expertise, utilizing understanding of local regulatory environment and developments in all countries in the region, technicalities of deferred compensation, and market’s compensation landscape, including but not limited to adherence to 409A tax legislation in the United States and the labor union landscape in Brazil. Work with HR Service Delivery functions including payroll, HR Advisory, and Operations to ensure consistent and appropriate execution of reward decisions including buyouts, guarantees, and loans. Support Divisional Reward complex hires and terminations. Serve as representative for local cross-divisional initiatives and projects including conceptualizing and implementing changes to the reward model based on analysis of local market, analyzing and implementing FLSA framework, planning, testing, launching, and serving as SME for Total Reward Portal. Manage and maintain compensation contractual wording and policies and support on all bespoke amendments. Support year-end regional and country reviews and provide cross-divisional support to local HR in SMC locations. Partner with the Recruitment team to build salary recommendations, provide replacement award calculations and produce wording for offer letters, including negotiation on award terms. Own cross-divisional manual loans process consisting of legacy Employee Forgiveness Loans, Hardship Loans and structured loan offerings based on acquisition of business. Provide guidance and support on reward aspects for employee life cycle, deferred compensation plans, divisional commitments and approvals, and exceptions that are all in line with regional and local tax, legal and regulatory requirements. Assist in creation and coordination of materials and submissions for various regulatory bodies based on comprehensive knowledge of each country's regulatory landscape.
