Are you looking for a career opportunity where you are part of creating long term strategies that translate to actionable and impactful plans directly impacting products? Coordinate all aspects of multiple and/or complex operations Brand /Program(s) to align them with AbbVie’s business goals and strategic imperatives. Key supply chain interface and central point of contact for internal stakeholders to external Third-Party Manufacturers (TPMs). Provide global Brand / Product analysis, strategy perspective, and oversight to LRP / annual Plan, demand and inventory management. Develop and execute effective product strategies and Brand plans for Product Launches, Site Transfers, Security of Supply, Cost Improvements, Risk and Lifecycle Management. Develop and manage long range plans and supply strategies. Manage complex cross functional programs involving multiple levels of personnel in plants, TPMs, and functional organizations and cultures. Provide guidance for the Global Brand Team or similar collaborative cross functional groups. Responsibilities: With little direction, provide leadership to drive multiple and/or complex operations Brand Program(s) to ensure timely decisions that can drive over $1 Billion in sales and projects/lifecycle transitions can impact $100’s of millions in capital projects, cost savings while maintaining assurance of supply and operational performance. May lead or be the core member of Operations Brand team. Primary interface with wide variety of internal functions. Works with Commercial to develop and gain agreement on Brand/ Product forecasts. Remain current on internal and external factors impacting their Brand/Product(s). Partnering both with internal AbbVie and external stakeholders to implement and effectively execute agreements. Ensures that agreement commitments are being fulfilled by both parties and work to issue resolutions. Responsible for new product introduction (NPI) or market expansion activities. Lead a cross-functional launch team and coordinate all aspects of launch activities with a project plan, identification of milestones, and routine launch meetings. Identify and mitigate risks, drive to a timeline and create routine project updates and communication for leadership decision. Strategies with PSM for negotiations and may lead negotiations for complex, multi-site and or multi-product new contracts or extensions with TPMs. Lead negotiations with TPM on additional service cost, project proposals, extra charges, etc. Communicate and escalate issues that threaten assurance of supply. Work with AbbVie cross-functional teams and TPMs to identify and develop mitigations plans Leads initiatives for new solutions or governance improvements that drive standardization and synergies for cross-functional and Brand teams in a mutual and win-win fashion. Presents to senior leaders in a manner that articulates the scenario story and anticipates questions/concerns. Can command attention and manage group dynamics during a presentation. May create viable Brand plans, financial plans, LRP, risk management and Lifecycle strategies. Justify and ensure alignment with AbbVie’s business goals and strategic imperatives. Initiate and manage program activities to optimize the operational performance and meet strategic business needs while ensuring that assurance of supply is achieved. Ensure programs/projects follow the PMO roadmap to drive standardized, effective program/project management. Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Science plus business and product management in Life Science. MBA or higher education desired but not required. 8 plus years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Management, Product Development, and / or Financial Management. Establish effective communication to influence decisions and keep key stakeholders informed. Broader systemic thinking that links to achieve business objectives. Understanding how strategies and tactics affect financials. Understanding of supply, demand, and market dynamics and impact on brand for Operations General project management skills to ensure initiatives are meeting deadlines and appropriate stakeholders and involved Acts as a resource or mentor to colleagues with less experience. Proven ability to multi-task and handle conflicting priorities to deliver results. Demonstrated self-starter that communicates actions, decisions and concerns with little direction or supervision. Proven capability to manage, implement and influence large change management programs.
