Duties:

• Maintain and administrate the storage and backup infrastructures
• Support the mission critical storage and backup environments
• Responsible for database backup and restore configurations, media encryption, disaster recoveries and provide ongoing support
• Assist in the development, implementation and testing of the Disaster Recovery Plan for storage and backup tools
• Configure, monitor and maintain backup / recovery software and hardware in compliance with the standards
• Develop and maintain policy and procedures documentation
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned by Supervisor

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree Holder in Computer Science or equivalent;
• At least 2 – 4 years’ experience in Backup Software and Storage Encryption technologies
• Holder of database certification is preferred
• Hands-on experience in installation, configuration and backup & recovery
• Knowledge in encryption solutions (SKLM / HSM) is an advantage
• Familiar with Tivoli Storage Manager and / or EMC Networker
• Team player with good problem solving skills
• Good communication in both spoken and written English and Chinese
