Job description

• Coach basketball sessions to 5 to 15 year olds along with a professional colleague in the afternoon at 16:30 to 18:30 and on weekends.
• Teaching age and developmentally appropriate lessons, whilst creating a safe, fun, and learning-centered environment for students
• Developing lesson plans and participating in curriculum development
• Monitoring and enhancing performance by providing students with encouragement and feedback

Requirements

The successful candidates will be responsible for, along with his colleague, a professional basketball player, planning and delivering age and developmentally appropriate lessons to primary and middle school students. The ideal candidates will have coaching or teaching backgrounds, experience working with children at the primary and/or middle school level, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Child teaching experience is desirable.

A teaching certification and/or experience working in a school is preferred.

Preferably in game shape.
