YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Biomolecular Mass Spectrometry Analyst, are to: 

 

  • Independently identifies research opportunities in assigned areas;
  • Identify opportunities for technical innovation;
  • Align core competencies with business objectives;
  • Conduct multiple complex scientific projects;
  • Effectively communicates study findings internally and externally;
  • Perform and handle sample preparation procedures using different extraction techniques from different systems;
  • Develop, validate, and implement bioanalytical methods for protein or small molecules on LCMS platforms in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications:

  

  • Ph.D. with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience;  OR
  • M.S. with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience;  OR
  • B.S. with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience;
  • High level of competency in protein identification, characterization, quantitation and  post-translational modification with mass spectrometry;
  • Strong-hands-on experience in method development, maintaining and troubleshooting of LC-MS instrumentation;
  • Possesses specialized knowledge in relevant technology area;
  • Ability to conducts research and contribute to research projects, technologies, publications, intellectual property, or trade secrets.
