Job Description

The Business Development Director Financial Services China is a key role in developing new relationships with New Logo and maintaining existing customers. This role will be responsible for business development and revenue growth across the China domestic banking market with individual contributor responsibility. This includes leading and driving the overall sales strategy, account planning for existing accounts, development and coaching for the sales team. This individual will have responsibility for selling software, translation services, and integrated technology + services solutions into the local China FS  market.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic territory plan to sign new software and services customers and hit your monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Drive year on year revenue growth for China FS market (software and Translation Service)
  • Ensure maintenance of a strong opportunity pipeline (via SFDC) both at the team and individual level
  • Quarterback team selling environment – leverage available resources including solution consulting, professional services, marketing, industry experts and management.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Marketing Manager on target campaigns, events, and other activities
  • Motivate your sales team to be creative, driven, and successful
  • Support the development of team members through active coaching and support
  • Align the vertical sales strategy with the overall sales and company strategy

Requirements: 

  • Hunter mentality with demonstrated success sourcing leads, qualifying opportunities and closing deals;
  • Tenacious and extremely results driven. You want to be at the top of the leader board and hate losing. We are looking for quota killers, not quota achievers;
  • Experience selling to senior management at big accounts;
  • Demonstrated aptitude in acquiring/applying industry expertise successfully in sales cycles;
  • Someone who has been recognized for his/her performance and received additional responsibilities and/or promotions;
  • You care about creating value for your customer and turning them into happy and reference able clients.
  • Very strong communication and presentation skills;

 

MUST-HAVE

  • Bachelor or Master Degree, from first level of universities; 
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and Native Chinese
  • 10~15 years of experience (in solution/software selling is a big plus) and business development
  • A true marketer - understands integrated marketing levers, customer centric; detail-oriented along with strong analytical skills and business acumen;
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills
  • Can do attitude, quick learner, independent and self-motivated
