Job Description
Focus on sales and new business development and expanding existing accounts
Develop and maintain trust-based relationships with key decision makers and achieves resolution on critical issues
Develop expert level knowledge of company products and services and addresses issues to optimize selling success
Execute on current trends to maximize impact with our customers
Maintain and develop partnerships with account stakeholders, both new and existing Identify opportunities for growth and expansion
Consistently achieves quota and proactively maintains appropriate mix of prospects at various stages of the sales cycle
Closes business with new merchants and nurtures territory merchant bases
Attend tradeshows as required and pre-plan schedule to maximize selling time
Sell as an individual contributor and be a team player, assisting your direct report(s) in the sales process
Refine and develop best-selling practices, including competitive positioning, sales correspondence and presentation templates, and objection removal strategies
Contribute to sales team meetings with a positive can-do attitude
Maintain up-to-date industry, competitor, and referral partner knowledge by reading industry publications and websites
Provide support to Chief Marketing Officer as needed



Requirements

Experience selling in an e-commerce and/or technology environment
Deep knowledge of B2B and B2C sales and account management in e-commerce strongly preferred.
7+ years field sales experience selling branded e-commerce products
Proven ability to exceed sales quotas
Proven ability to cultivate long-term, trust-based relationships with executives
Excellent presentation and writing skills
Ability to thrive within a high-performance team
Willingness to travel occasionally
International experience strongly preferred
