Global Customer Service Business Intelligence team (GCS BI) is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to support and enhance our BI reporting solutions. The BI Developer will be a key player in the team by developing new reports and dashboards, and supporting our existing reports.

The GCS Insights and Analytics team helps leaders understand and manage a complex business landscape. Insights range from operational performance to customer experience and product and technology enablement.

As a BI Developer within PayPal’s GCS Insights and Analytics team, your responsibilities will be to:

• Support global reporting for GCS organization
• Design, develop and deploy new reports based on business users requirements
• Maintain existing reports with enhancements, improvements.
• Understand KPI definitions and make sure consistencies between BI reports
• Identify new business needs in terms of reporting and define steps to provide most efficient and easy-to-use solution
• Have a good understanding of our reporting environments, ability to investigate any requests/questions in a timely manner
• Support and educate our users to help them using the reporting tools and using the right reports/metrics
• Develop report/data documentation, with best practices on how to use the tools

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in Business Intelligence developer/analyst
• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field (engineering, statistics, …)
• Strong experience with BI Tools, preferably MicroStrategy (Developer, Web, Narrowcast)
• Strong SQL & Teradata knowledge, good understanding of data warehouse and data modeling techniques
• Show interests on data visualization area and best practices for impressive outputs
• Strong knowledge of Excel
• Solid analytics skills with attention to detail
• Experience with statistical packages such as SAS, Python or R is a plus
• Ability to learn quickly and a strong aptitude for creative and innovative problem solving.
