To support the Head of Health & Wellness in strategy development, business performance/engagement monitoring and analysis, and in ensuring that business objectives are met.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
Support Head of Health & Wellness in ensuring that all strategic and business objectives are achieved and in managing stakeholder relations
Lead the annual development of the rolling 3-year strategic plan for Health & Wellness
Conduct/refresh longitudinal study to understand long-term value created by Vitality program and health solutions
Stakeholder Relations
Organize and coordinate stakeholder summits, planning and review sessions and other relevant meetings with local and Group Office partners to understand and assess current performance, issues, strengths and opportunities
Business Development
Lead the development of business cases for new strategic initiatives, business and partnership opportunities
Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive upsell/cross-sell, repurchase and persistency initiatives
Member Acquisition
Explore and recommend ways to increase members through proactive measures which can include setting up of Operating Committee to identify key issues and developing initiatives
Management Reporting
Handle preparation of regular management and engagement reports covering key metrics to monitor progress against health & wellness’ key performance indicators
Handle other local and Group reports such as monthly business reviews, dashboards, finance data requirements, fraud reporting et al
In reporting, role will entail analysis and modelling of structured data using advanced statistical methods; also generate insights to clearly understand the quantifiable value; turn statistical and analysis into user-friendly graphs, charts, and reports
Capability Development
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop tools and services such as modeling, dashboard development, and recommend solutions
Work cross functionally and across geographies with data architecture and IT infrastructure teams to build robust data warehousing and data mining systems
Collate and analyze data from multiple, disparate data sources to drive engagement and refine product enhancement
Learn app and site analytics i.e., Adobe Analytics to help with UX and content improvements
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
A university graduate, or equivalent, preferably with experience in business management and development
Strong communication skills across a range of mediums—written, oral and presentation
Highly analytical with excellent skills in excel and other tools
Strong collaboration and influencing skills
Pleasant personality, independent and proactive
Key requirements as recommended by Group
Bachelor's degree with quantitative focus in Econometrics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science or related field (e.g. Mathematics) and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Statistical/Quantitative Modeling and/or Machine Learning tools (R, Python, etc) and in using various database tools (e.g. Hadoop, SQL) processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data
In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience in Statistical/Quantitative Modeling and/or Machine Learning tools and in using various database tools processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data
A minimum of 2-4 years experience with mathematical model creation and/or evaluation, hypothesis testing and experimental design
Demonstrated skills in data mining, machine learning, and programming
Experience in thought leadership in applying data driven models that had a tangible impact on business
Ability to query databases and apply advanced data manipulation techniques across multiple sources
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to understand and articulate the “big picture” and simplify complex ideas
Solid project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight and potentially changing deadlines in a high-paced and dynamic environment
Strong problem solving and structuring skills; ability to mine large datasets and surface actionable insights
Ability to identify and learn applicable new techniques independently as needed
Highly Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience with R, Python, or similar programming or statistical scripting languages
Experience with distributed computing systems like Hadoop
A demonstrated command of the concepts of model validation, statistical inference and feature engineering
Working knowledge of designing and developing, programming and supporting software programs/applications
Ability to build dashboards and other data visualizations; experience with tools such as Cognos and Tableau
Familiarity with data warehousing, schemas, and IT infrastructure
Familiarity with web and mobile analytics; tools such as Google Analytics and Omniture
