- We are looking for COMMODITY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST - with details as follows :
THE JOB :
- Maintain global and/or regional responsibility for commodities for price/value determination, product and/or service negotiations, terms and conditions, supplier relationship development and performance.
- Develop and execute a procurement strategy for commodity or services including competitive benchmarking, technology direction, supplier analysis, development, selection and pricing strategy.
- Responsible for all product or service sourcing.
- Quote and negotiate quarterly all products or major services either regionally or globally.
- Conduct customer bids within the response time objectives. Responsible for supplier performance reviews.
- Identify the supply VS demand for all allocated products and communicate the proportioning of these items by geography and customer.
- Provide product cost support for products in assigned geographies.
- Prepare bids including generation of BOM, cost analysis, negotiate with suppliers, and present bids to management.
- Update material prices database, analyze bill of materials for competitiveness and customer compliance
- Experience or ability to learn and use multiple applications specific to this department including ERP and office systems.
- Knowledge of purchasing principles and procedures.
- Ability to consolidate, manipulate and analyze large quantities of data.
- 5 days work
- 13 month salary + performance bonus
