Qualifications
This person will apply his/her knowledge of US and China trade regulations, particularly export & customs regulations in partnership with Intel's Regulatory and Compliance Solutions team to provide solutions to drive business growth while maintaining compliance. The person will also work with internal partners including legal and government relations teams, and sales account teams to communicate regulatory impact information to internal and external stakeholders (including customers, partners and governments). In addition, this trade regulatory expert should analyze existing and new trade regulations, enable internal stakeholders to understand the compliance requirements that pertain to their business activities, and serve as point of contact for interactions with PRC regulatory agencies for certain matters including legal policy influencing.
Scope Includes:
Establish and maintain relationships with business leaders and stakeholders as necessary to support the company's business plans while ensuring compliance with applicable trade regulations
Support the organization in complying with the requirements of government regulations and/or regulatory agencies
Participate in the preparation of document packages for complex regulatory submissions
Communicate regulatory information to provide compliance awareness and enable stakeholders to understand the requirements that pertain to their business
Partner with external customers and suppliers as needed to understand and navigate the regulatory compliance requirements
Support trade policy influencing in China - e.g., the forthcoming China Export Regulations
Required Qualifications/Skills:
Trade Legal and/or regulatory background is required
Strong communication skills (Chinese and English)
10 or more years of practical experience interpreting and applying regulations in business scenarios
Technology business acumen is preferred
Ability and passion to tightly integrate with business groups to understand their business objectives/challenges for solution offering
Sensitive to regulatory and political environment and its development in both the US and China
Self-motivated quick learner
