How will you make an impact?
 
Thermo Fisher Scientific is currently recruiting for highly motivated, innovative clinical professional to join the growing Cascadion SM Clinical Chemistry Analyzer clinical affairs team in Vantaa. Clinical Research Coordinator will be responsible for the clinical performance study planning and coordination of related activities between different departments and partners. You will have a chance to work with high technology products and develop yourself and the ways of working in a motivating, innovative working environment.
 
What will you do?
 
•           Design and review clinical sample collection study protocols in collaboration with R&D Scientists, facilitate purchase requisitions, and collaborate with suppliers to acquire clinical specimens for clinical projects, in compliance with Good Clinical Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, Quality, Business, and Industry best practices/standards.
•           Interact closely with Assay R&D and other functions locally and globally to coordinate the sample collection and maintenance of legal and regulatory documentation, managing material logistics, and maintaining clinical study information per Good Clinical Practices and Quality Standards.
•           Design, write and review clinical performance study plans together with method development team
•           Participate in project team meetings and provide periodic updates on clinical study projects.
 
How will you get here?
 
Experience
•           Min. 2 years’ experience in the design and coordination of clinical trials, possibly also in the context of third-party funding projects or clinical activities.
•           Understanding of IVD and US FDA regulations relative to clinical performance studies and specimen collections is preferred.
 
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
•           Fluent verbal and written communication skills in Finnish and English
•           Strong interpersonal and networking skills, highly collaborative within a multi-discipline team
•           Availability to travel max 20% globally.
Education
•           Min. Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biosciences or related field
