ABOUT THE TEAM

SAP Data Intelligence is a comprehensive data management solution. As the data orchestration layer of SAP’s Business Technology Platform, it transforms distributed data sprawls into vital data insights, delivering innovation at scale.

SAP Data Intelligence team in Xian plays a critical role in SAP Data Intelligence development by participating in and helping to safeguard the whole lifecycle of the product development - Core Platform development, Metadata Explorer development, Cloud Infrastructure service automation and Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Delivery (CD) automation.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Cloud & CI/CD Automation Developer, you will be working in a team located in Xian and define & execute concepts around CI/CD and SRE (Site Reliability Engineering), where software engineering meets infrastructure and operations. Researching on and prototyping alternative approaches to new technologies are also part of the work. You will find yourself in a working environment both inspiring and professional where challenging the status quo is welcomed and personal learning and growth are valued.
We emphasize teamwork and a trust-based working model. Collaboration with global (Germany, Brazil, etc.) teams could be a regular routine.
 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Computer science or a related major
• Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge in at least one scripting and one programming language (e.g. Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, Bash)
• Interested in scripting and automating build, delivery and operation processes in cloud environments
• Relatively good spoken and written English skills

Preferred skills

• Experience in developing and operating on enterprise software
• Hands-on experience in (cloud) infrastructure services and technologies, e.g. Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenStack, Aliyun.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins in a CI/CD environment
• Experience and knowledge in container and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of multiple programming languages and their relevant build technologies (e.g. Maven, NPM)
• Knowledge and experience in cyber security
