EdUHK is inviting applications for the post of Communications Manager. The appointee will be responsible for creating high-quality publications and communication materials, which include but not limited to the University’s annual report, newsletters, speeches and messages of the Council Chairman, President and Vice Presidents, and citations for the Honorary Doctors and Fellows. Serving as an in-house English writer, he/she should provide professional language services in message and document crafting and editing, among others.


The incumbent must be a native English speaker with over 10 years of experience in corporate communications and in the areas of newswriting, copywriting and/or editing. Applicants should have a recognised degree preferably in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related discipline. They should also be self-starters with positive outlook, proven organisational skills and attention to details. They should be able to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring timely delivery and quality. Applicants with less experience will be considered for the post of Senior Communications Officer. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.
