The Marketing Manager, Consumer APAC reports to the Senior Director, Consumer Marketing, APAC. This role is responsible for supporting the development of Invisalign’s consumer marketing strategy and plans for the APAC region. They will be responsible for the strategic planning, development, and tracking of consumer marketing and lead generation initiatives across the region; including global brand campaigns, social media, PR and influencer, doctor-directed consumer channel activations, and E-commerce programs.

You will play a central role in integrating the global brand into local markets, working closely with the global and local marketing teams to bring best practice to the countries and demonstrate an ability to execute new and innovative campaigns that can be leveraged across the region.

In this role, you will…

  • Identify powerful consumer insights and develop strategies and plans to drive conversion among key consumer segments, all within a regulated healthcare category
  • Differentiate the Invisalign Brand by identifying key points of superiority that drive sustainable competitive advantage. Monitor competitor activities and propose counter plans
  • Develop and execute impactful digital marketing and eCommerce initiatives that cut through the clutter and drive action
  • Deep dive across key consumer touchpoints, both online and offline, and identify opportunities for synergy and improved conversion
  • Partner with the media agency to ensure effective media plans by market, with effective ROIs and at optimal sufficiency of spending
  • Manage the creative, media and PR agencies to ensure projects are well integrated and completed on time and within budget.
  • Engage with key stakeholders across the business, including Global and local marketing teams, to ensure all marketing initiatives are embraced and maximised.
  • Provide support to audit processes and quality management system as required

In this role, you will need …
  • At least 8 years of consumer marketing experience with preference for FMCG or Consumer Healthcare industries
  • At least 2 years of regional or multi-market experience in APAC
  • Digital marketing native, with high degree of experience across all key fields: SEM/SEO, Social Media management, Big idea development, Digital tracking and analytics, PR and Influencer management, CRM, etc.
  • Able to think big, be creative, and excite and influence key stakeholders
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills with ability to make sound strategic decisions through incorporation of data from multiple sources and own business judgment
  • Strong business and market-focus, with the ability to convert strategy into practical action to drive business results
  • Strong project management skills with ability to effectively manage complex cross-functional projects.
  • Self-starter who needs minimal supervision and able to effectively manage through ambiguity
  • Experience in China marketing and E-commerce is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills (written, oral, & presentation) in English. Chinese or Japanese is a plus.
  • BS or BA or equivalent experience required. MBA is a plus
  • Ability to work well across different cultures, levels and functions
  • Willing to travel up to 30% of working hours
  • Willing to work in a fast paced and rapidly evolving environment.
