As a Continuous Improvement Manager, ABB’s Electrification business is a leading provider of a full range of protection, control and measurement solutions - enabling safer and smarter electricity flow from substation to the point of consumption. We deliver products and systems designed to connect, protect and control electrical systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency and safety for equipment and personnel.

You will lead a team of designers/engineers in Sales & Marketing Unit China Product Group/ EL Marketing and Sales Business Line/ Electrification Business. You will be in charge of business process development & implementation within a Local Sales unit, liaison with the global counterparts to replicate the global processes, best practices and solutions at the regional level to meet and exceed customer’s expectation and ABB commercial guidelines.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead-to-Opportunity management related process establishment and improvements, support to sales engineers on Leads, Contacts, accounts and opportunities management, accounts segmentation, accounts planning, forecasting, data quality etc.
  • Configurations and Quotations related process establishment and improvements, product configurations, market special price agreements, direct and indirect quotations, transfer special price agreements, public tendering documentation mgmt.
  • Accountable for end of line metrics, e.g. Time to Quote Lead Time, N. of manual changes implemented on orders lines due to incorrect master data (products, customers, commercial).
  • Leading the efforts to identify the simplification and improvement opportunities on all commercial related processes & policies, taking charge to work with all functional owners to push through the changes to improve overall process efficiency.

Your background

  • 10+ years of cumulated experience in the Business process development & implementation and team management experience with good tracking record.
  • Lean six sigma green belt or superior is preferred.
  • Motivated self-starter, with a keen interest in developing and implementing best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior management.
  • Mature and composed person adept at managing change and handling resistance effectively associated to the implementation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high energy, results oriented environment with enthusiasm.
  • Strong ERP Knowledge and cross modules.
  • Good project management skills.
  • Ability to promote a team environment and well established customer-oriented attitude.
  • Strong personal leadership.
  • Fluent in oral and written in Mandarin and English.
