Job Description:

1. To design graphical contents for social media platforms

2. To maintain close liaison with staff of other departments for issues of graphics to the social media platforms

3. To provide technical support to the social media platforms ,including but not limited to uploading materials onto those platforms.

4. To conduct researches on local and overseas practices in respect of the use of social media and any project areas as directed.

5. To assist in publicity activities related to social media platforms.

6. To perform any other duties as directed by senior officers.

Requirements:

i. have a Hong Kong bachelor’s degree, or equivalent. Disciplines related to Graphic Design, Public Relations, CorporateCommunications, Marketing or Journalism preferred;

ii. have at least 3yearsof full time post-qualification work experience in design, public relations, community engagement, corporate communication or social media marketing in a sizeable organization, with the use of mobile applications, digital platforms and/or social

iii.assisting in message development, internal and external stakeholders’ liaison in crisis communications, press conference script writing and issues handling;

iv.assisting in developing public engagement strategy and driving community outreach initiatives so as to enhance the public understanding of the work of the HK Police and foster support from local community

v.have attained Level 4 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent;

vi.have good presentational and interpersonal skills; have excellent spoken and written English and Chinese; be proficient in Putonghua.

vii.be proficient in software applications including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge on software applications in graphics design and editing, experience in the graphics design and editing considered an advantage;

viii.possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, be a good team player with creativity and dynamism, attention to details, and able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines and work under pressure;

ix.be able to plan, execute and manage projects independently to achieve the communications goals; and

x.have high adaptability to an environment of volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity.
