Global Business Services (GBS) is the heart of the AZ Finance function. We are accountable for the design and delivery of high quality, simple to operate finance processes which, combined with outstanding business analysis and insight, enables our customers to focus on AZ’s strategic priorities. AstraZeneca’s Finance function is continuing its transformation journey with the objective of delivering excellence in financial operations.

You will develop effective communication campaigns for one or more categories, and acts as an expert resource in the corporate communications for Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute integrated communications plans by generating compelling and consistent communications materials
  • Ensures all communications share a unified, on-brand look and feel that reflect the company’s business priorities and strategy.
  • Supports business announcements for sales, such as product launches or other product announcements
  • Participates in cross-functional teamwork and information exchange across a highly matrixed sales and marketing organizations

Essential Requirements

  • You should have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communication or similar
  • You should have 7-10 years of experience in pharma, healthcare or PR agency
  • Having corporate and internal communications experience is helpful
  • Experience with sales, marketing and commercial communication
  • Ability to understand and interpret scientific and medical data
