We are pleased to offer a 6 Month Internship starting in or about February 2020, at BMW of North America, LLC.

Customer Relations & Services Intern

This position will support the Customer Relations and Services Department on multiple projects and will work directly with the CR Operations Manager and Roadside Manager.

 
Projects to Include:

  • Conduct research and consult with team representatives in the design and development of appropriate CR training curriculum.
  • Coordinate the review/assessment of current training materials to ensure they meet intended objectives and requirements.
  • Prepare instructional materials for printing and develop outlines with the necessary basic detail to direct instruction.
  • Develop and maintain TMSi database that may be utilized to develop and review curriculum.
  • Use evaluations and data to make recommendations for how to improve and edit training curricula on a regular basis.
  • Develop training goals and outlines for new training and curriculum updates.
  • Work with the Team Managers who will assist in the curriculum development.
  • Actively pursue opportunities to continue to learn customer relations best practices through research, professional development, and other learning opportunities.
  • Identify inter-company and external guest speakers and trainers, and develop activities that will demonstrate best practices in the customer relations field.

This position will also support the Roadside Manager with the RSA Next implementation with tasks related to the roll-out of a new roadside assistance program. This will include creation of new customer and dealer communication materials and collaterals including websites, administrative guides, vehicle labels, as well as RSA integration into reporting tools and VoC. Candidate will also assist with the final testing and configuration of the new digital platform.

Student status meeting one or more of the areas below:

  • Enrolled in Bachelor’s Studies during Junior/Senior year (years 3 or 4)
  • Enrolled in Master’s Studies Program
  • Graduated no more than 12 months prior to internship start date
  • Prior internship and/or relevant work experience
  • Availability to work full-time for 6 months

Preferences:

  • Field of study – Business Administration, or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Word and Excel and have good presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English both orally and written
  • Research, develop, present, and promote best practices
  • Work independently; prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Disseminate ideas and information to others
  • Plan the necessary time, resources, and materials to support success of goals
  • Obtain and use evaluative findings (including representative achievement data) to examine program effectiveness
  • Be a team player with a positive attitude, sense of humor, high energy, and dedication to collaboration
  • Availability of 6 months
