JOB PURPOSE

The Trade Compliance Administrator will assist with various administrative tasks, such as providing support on various projects, supporting the FTA/Preference program, and ensuring the storage and accuracy of customs and shipping documents.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide support on various customs projects as needed, including current projects surrounding the customs bonded warehouse
• Ensure all customs and shipping documents are complete
• Liaise with customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure all documents are received and stored properly
• Assist in managing the FTA/preference program
• Liaise with vendors to ensure LTSD's are received for all relevant products to maintain duty free treatement
• Provide support on ad-hoc administrative requests as needed
 

PERSONAL PROFILE

• Understanding of international trade and customs regulations
• Prior experience in a customs or logistics role preferred
• Good administrative and organizational skills
• Basic use of SAP preferred
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Strong communication skills, particularly with commercial functions
• Demonstrates initiative and drive to meet deadlines and work in a challenging environment
