- We are looking for DESIGN ENGINEER – with details as follows :
THE JOB :
- You will work in a key team which supports all activities for providing foundation design works internally to the production team, tender team and externally to our clients, contractors, consultants and government bodies; ensuring the site works are successfully implemented and carried out.
- Report to the Design Manager
- Carry out foundation design works for temporary and permanent structures for large infrastructure or private jobs
- Be a support to the Production and Tender team with the preparation of Method Documents and Method Statements
- Work with the Production team to identify and input technical solutions
- Assist senior managers with budgeting and resource allocations
- Support the activities in Asia and around the Globe with your colleagues
- Coordinate and liaise with clients, contractors, consultants and government bodies
- Degree in Civil / Structural / Geotechnical Engineering
- Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in design and construction of foundation works
- Experience in geotechnical, reinforced concrete and steel member design
- Strong Computer skills in Specialist geotechnical and structural software (Plaxis 2d / 3d, Oasys AdSec, Geostudio etc)
- Proficient in general engineering software (Autocad, Microsoft Office)
- Knowledge of programming languages and previous exposure to BIM is a plus;
- Previous exposure of Building Department and Geotechnical Engineering Office submissions;
- Fluent in spoken and written English; Cantonese is a plus.
