Job Description
THE COMPANY :
  • A semiconductor company providing one-stop solution in IC design and application development.
  • Our expertise includes: various size of integrated circuit design, research advancing-front algorithm and its implementation and related products. We have conducted in-depth research and accumulated technology experiences on technique in audio/video devices, storage devices and industrial devices, and have successfully developed a series of mature programs in line with international technology.
  • We are looking for DIGITAL IC DESIGN ENGINEER – with details as follows :
THE JOB :
  • Work in a Team to participate in digital IP development/evaluation and SOC integration;
  • Protocol specification study, signal processing algorithm analysis, design prototyping and IC implementation;
  • Working full ASIC design cycle from design, RTL coding, verification, synthesis, timing closure, DFT, backend support and silicon bring-up;
  • Bachelor or above in Electronic Engineering;
  • 2 - 3 years related working experience in semi-conductor industry is preferred, fresh graduates are welcomed;
  • Knowledge in ASIC/FPGA design methodology;
  • In-depth knowledge in system level design methodology and embedded processors (ARM/MIPS/DSP) MMU/caching, buses (AMBA);
  • Knowledge in High Speed Serial Data Link, eg. USB, SATA, Ethernet, PCIe is a plus;
  • Knowledge of both front-end, analog and backend flow is an advance;
  • Knowledge in OS (Linux) virtual memory/threading/power management is a plus;
  • Experience in image, video or audio signal processing system implementation on DSP or RISC processors, especially with detailed level knowledge of video codecs, e.g. MPEG-4/H.264/VC-1 is an advance;
  • Able to code in 'C' and Verilog RTL;
  • 5 days work (Mon to Fri 9-6pm)
