Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality standards for processing materials into partially finished or finished material or product. Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment. Designs or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment, conducts quality assurance tests, and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of, and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control, and/or research and development as they apply to quality control. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.

Qualifications

- Candidate should possess an BS degree with at least 3 years additional relevant experience, in material science, chemical, physics, Electrical Engineering or Physics, with an emphasis in Physics of Semiconductor Materials or Devices.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and a track record of problem solving with creativity and out-of-box thinking
- Knowledge of wafer fabrication, param, probe, reliability and/or assembly packaging processing is required.
- Prefer candidates with hands on experience in equipment PM, fab engineering experience, previous metrology /assembly related experience is preferred
- Proven ability to extract/analyze/report technical data effectively, including hardware log and defect analysis;
- Proven ability to hands on and solve complex equipment issues;
- Proven ability to drive complex projects to completion;
- Demonstrated ability to partner stakeholders successfully.
- Demonstrated success in troubleshooting problems and addressing root causes;
