Job Description:

Ubisoft China is looking for a talented and passionate Analytics Manager to shape its data strategy and develop our teams’ expertise in data.

The Analytics Manager will be the expert capable of asking the right questions. He will be able to translate data into insights, and insight into recommendations that can be delivered to stakeholders including game production teams, business teams and studios management.

This role requires both an excellent understanding of games production and operations as well as strong business acumen. It will focus on leading, developing and managing our data analysts in China to ensure they deliver high quality analysis. This position will also require close collaboration with many stakeholders from the worldwide analytics community.

What you will do:

·         Direct the strategy and missions of the analytics team in line with the strategy of Ubisoft China.

·         Proactively identify analytics needs and manage a team of data analysts to answer them.

·         Participate in the definition and implementation of KPIs for Ubisoft China.

·         Lead a team of data analysts, coach and develop them to reach their full potential.

·         Ensure analysis and reporting are impactful and actionable.

·         Steer the development and application of innovative analysis approaches.

·         Actively promote analytics and best practices in our studios to develop a data driven culture.

·         Develop strong relationships with stakeholders including game production teams, business teams and data engineering teams, both locally in China and worldwide.

What you should have:

·         Experience in data development and data analysis in the field of game and/or business analytics.

·         Experience in a fast paced consumer focused industry.

·         Experience managing a team.

·         Expert in analytics and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or other.

·         Good knowledge of analytics methodologies and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).

·         Proficient in SQL, Python, R programming languages.

·         Good interpersonal skills, good communication, planning & organizing skills.

·         Collaborative and inclusive mindset to share knowledge and grow a team.

·         Proactive individual with capabilities to anticipate issues and come up with solutions.

·         Self-motivated, self-driven and autonomous.

·         Good business acumen, with a strategic mindset.

·         Proficient in English.
