In a transaction valued at $9B, Intel Corporation is spinning-off its NAND Memory Business—a global leader in the design and manufacture of integrated circuits and solid-state drives (SSDs) for use in data centers, personal computers, and other devices—to form an independent company that will be a subsidiary of parent company SK hynix.

The new company will be headquartered in San Jose, California, with aspirations to conduct an IPO and become a publicly traded U.S. company. As the current head of Intel’s Memory Business, Rob Crooke will lead the new company as CEO, with a number of Intel executives and senior leaders joining him to stand-up and grow the new company. The new venture combines elements of an established, successful Silicon Valley technology company with the spirit, agility, and entrepreneurial mindset of a start-up.

In addition to the U.S. headquarters and other facilities in the U.S., the company has a significant international presence in Asia, Europe, and the Americas. The newly formed company will continue to lead the world in innovating new Memory technologies and will soon be the second largest NAND memory company in the world by revenue.

This position is associated with the sale of Intel's NAND memory and storage business to SK Hynix (You can read more about the transaction in the press release -. The transaction will enhance the resources and potential of the business' storage solutions, including client and enterprise SSDs, in the rapidly growing NAND Flash space amid the era of big data.

This is an exciting time to be in the storage segment with data explosion in 5G, AI, and cloud - come join our NPSG (NAND Product and Solutions Group) Data Center Sales Team as an Account Executive and work on one of the most advanced 3DNAND and SSD technology portfolios in the world.

As the global leader in the semiconductor industry, Intel possesses many industry-leading SSD technologies including the most capable Quadruple Level Cell (QLC) NAND Flash products. As an Account Executive, you will be part of a world-class team that will transition to lead the SSD business at NPSG with Intel NPSG core teams. This is a commissioned sales position for Cloud, Enterprise, OxM customers in China within NPSG of Intel.

This role requires a self-driven individual who has the ability to do both big picture thinking and drive execution. The Account Executive will be counterpart with Field Application Engineer and divisional partners to achieve business growth and hit sales goals. The ideal candidate is passionate about managing a fast-growing SSD business in changing and dynamic market.

Responsibilities include: sensing dynamics and industry trend, developing and executing account level strategy, driving strategic conversations and product, solution roadmap alignment, identifying new opportunities, market intelligence and winning plan.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Computer Science, IT etc. Master's Degree preferred.
- 5+ years of sales experience or direct experience working with CSPs in IT industry.
A successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Keen understanding of the Storage and Memory marketplace.
- Experience selling to CSPs and their partners, understanding of sales channel dynamics and OEM and distribution network.
- Demonstrated ability to interface and influence from C-level executives down to purchasing and product managers in key decision-making situations.
- Sales results orientation and hunting mentality. Proven experience in driving business strategy for large account.
- Ability to conduct complex business negotiations inclusive of pricing, supply and product.
- Experience interacting with internal and external stakeholders to obtain required support and achieve sales results in the field.
- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills with proven ability to execute effectively across teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Regular business travel is required. Preferred Skills:
- Mix of commercial and technical expertise; Semiconductor industry background is preferred.
- Experience in selling Cloud and Data Center solutions.
- Past work experience at global US companies is preferred.
