Duties:

• Act as subject matter expert in DB design, installation, configuration, performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Manage DB in areas of security compliance and capacity planning
• Develop, document and implement contingency plans

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Oracle / MSSQL / DB2 / MySQL Database administration
• Hands-on experience in database installation, backup & performance monitoring and tuning
• Experience in Oracle 9i / 10g / 11g is an added advantage
• Familiar with Window / UNIX / Linux platform
• Holder of OCA / OCP / IBM DB2 certificate is preferred
• A team player with analytical and problem-solving mind
• Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Database Administrator
• HK Permanent Resident is required
