Purpose and Objectives

S/4HANA Finance development is responsible of fulfilling SAP’s story by delivering SAP S/4 HANA Finance in the Cloud. This next-generation set of solutions is based on a simplified and renewed finance technology stack that leverages the full potential of the SAP HANA platform and progress in modern business architecture. S/4HANA Finance Development consists of a global development organization that works in close collaboration with customers and partners to support superior finance processes and new business models. The accounting development is part of this global team, working with global customers to drive technology and product innovation.

Expectation and Tasks

Working as a developer in an agile development team according to Scrum/Lean methodology, you will have the opportunity to:

• Show strong customer focus (as we work closely with key customers to develop the solution)., contribute actively to solution realization
• Grow knowledge in professional financial area like general accounting and profitability/margin analysis
• Take the responsibility of software design, implementation, testing and maintenance on time with high quality
• Cooperate closely with other development teams and product owner
• Assess new technology, tools and infrastructure to keep up with rapid pace of change of the industry
• Be interested in extending knowledge in related business processes
• Mentor junior team members, continually enhance existing skills and personal development, coordinate and communicate with other team on cross function topics

Education and Qualification/Skills and competencies/Work experience

• Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical disciplines
• 5+ years of professional experience in development, preferably in FI or CO-PA area
• Applied programming skills and experience with ABAP/HTML5/Web Service/oData, etc, SAP HANA knowledge and cloud development experience is a plus
• Having good software design skills. Being familiar with common algorithms, design patterns, software engineering methodologies
• Good business understanding with the ability to understand customer requirements and translate it into features and software design
• Fluent in English (Oral & Written)
• Well-organized and good analytical skills. Being able to handle topics with complex business logic with support, open minded, ability to learn quickly and dive into new topics, good communication skills and team player
