The Director of Operations, Focused Service - Greater China & Mongolia (Shenzhen Based) leads and steers the company to the most profitable direction while also implementing its vision, mission and long-term goals. This role provides the leadership that will ensure the effective and efficient operation of all focused service hotels within the area of responsibility.

The Director of Operations, Focused Service - Greater China & Mongolia (Shenzhen based) directs and supports General Managers of leased, managed and franchised focused service properties. He / she reports directly to the Vice President, Focused Service – GCM and is responsible for understanding the nuances of operating in a focused service environment and implementing agreed Hilton strategies. This role supports the hotel performance improvement to ensure that the business has the correct focus on both net unit growth and performance, and delivers the right level of profitability and owner returns.

What will I be doing?

As Director of Operations, Focused Service - GCM, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Lead General Managers in the effective management of hotels to maximize financial performance while upholding Hilton’s brand standards commitment and optimizing levels of guest satisfaction.
• Analyze hospitality and general business trends and practices to formulate short-term, long-term strategies and realistic performance goals.
• Develop and implement contingency plans to take advantage of, or respond to, market opportunities or instabilities and changing economic conditions.
• Work with the pre-opening team to ensure commercial-ready and people-ready opening of every hotel, focusing on pulling the right commercial service levers as needed for ongoing performance.
• Focus on hotel service quality, establish customer experience systems, create key customer service experience points, improve service levels, service quality and customer satisfaction of the hotel.
• Be familiar with the hotel's operation processes and key points of the operation section as well as to complete the brand's operation standards manual.
