JOB SUMMARY 

This position requires an experienced professional who understands content marketing, forecasting, social media sales channels, link building, email marketing, analytics and performance reporting. The environment will include virtual teams working in a matrixed organization. Will also include working with external vendor/partners such as agencies.

The e-commerce manager is crucial in helping guide our brands online strategy. The e-commerce manager will own the measurement of the health of our brands business, including reporting, forecasting, and deeper customer insight and segmentation work and marketing channel selection based on metrics.

Managing sales channels on Amazon and through own sales interface is a key aspect of the role. Reporting will be directly to the head of the team.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Manage all online activity in relation to traffic acquisition, sales, conversion and reporting
  • Develop and implement ecommerce strategy in order to improve own website sales performance and those of third-party platform.
  • Work hand in hand with web development team and designers to execute strategic changes to site and/or new builds.
  • Work with developers to improve website speed (own site sales)
  • Work within the marketing team or manage digital marketers to improve quality and traffic acquisition
  • Analyse various data in order to deliver data driven strategies in order to deliver top performance and achieve KPI's
  • Oversee or directly manage digital marketing channels across SEO, email marketing and social media - optimize online sales funnels.
  • Develop content calendar and oversee website uploads and landing pages development
  • Report on marketing channels performance
  • Support with planning and forecasting of the e-commerce channels
  • Work cross-functionally with members of every part of the organization to ensure broad alignment and action to support initiatives that maximize opportunities and/or course correct on liabilities
  • Partner with Insights and Analytics and Finance/FP&A to create the right level of reporting that the team will need to consume
  • Escalate issues in the channel performance up to the right level to quickly apply corrective measurements

PROFILE

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience developing and overseeing digital marketing strategies
  • Excellent understanding of web design and web analysis
  • Strong marketing and tech background
  • Understanding and experience in UX, Google Analytics, Pixel
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels such as SEO, Social Media Display and affiliate marketing channels
  • Knowledge of sales journey optimisation, traffic analysis and reporting tools
  • Willingness to put in the hours required to make the brand successful
    Degree level in Digital Marketing or any related field preferred but direct on the job experience will also be considered.
