We are hiring senior Java software engineers to develop the next-generation unify troubleshooting platform for Webex. A successful candidate will have a good balance between technical and interpersonal skills as this person will serve as the go-between product owners and engineering. The candidate will have a proven track record in delivering quality within tight deadlines.

Skills required:

BS in Computer Science or MS is preferred with 5+ years of software development experience in Java

Familiarity with Python, Shell Script, JavaScript is a strong plus.

Familiarity with RabbitMQ, Hadoop is a strong plus.

Experience of developing software in a Unix/Linux environment.

At least 3+ years of experience with design and development of highly reliable and scalable distributed web-based application.

Solid experience with web service technologies, such as Axis, SOAP, or anything similar.

Experience with APIs, SOA, and Web Services, including technologies like SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, and MEMCACHED.

Must be proficient in developing relational DB applications with Oracle and MySQL. Experience troubleshooting slow queries and table schemas.

Must be a good problem solver with creative solutions

Experience with NoSql technologies such as MongoDB, Cassandra, and HBase is a plus

Good performance in data structure and algorithm design.

Ability to work independently and fast troubleshooting as well as a team player

Familiar to SIP and multimedia meeting system is a big plus

Good oral/written English communication.
