Job Description
THE COMPANY :
  • British owned company
  • Professional civil engineering design firm specializing in supporting main contractors at both tender and contract stage. We provide solutions for construction methodology, erection analysis, temporary works and alternative designs for major civil and building works.
  • Our expertise encompasses both steel and reinforced/pre-stressed concrete structures, geotechnical work and heavy lifting as well as pre-fabricated and modularized structures. We aim to work at the forefront of engineering where the skill and inventiveness of our staff add true value to our clients, enabling them to secure high value projects at tender stage and then add further value as the projects are constructed.
  • We have an established and growing workload covering large underground works for civil projects involving ELS, tunneling and pipe/box jacking. Future opportunities include bridge works and other major structures.
  • We are looking for ENGINEER – with details as follows :
 
THE JOB :
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent; 
  • 3 to 5 years civil design experience with either a contractor or a consultant; 
  • Sound understanding of the principles of design and analysis; 
  • good engineering skills in geotechnical and/or structural disciplines
  • Able to design safe structural systems achieving efficiency in cost, time and functionality; 
  • Good understanding of the codes of practice, regulations and best practices relating to the design work; 
  • Knowledge of the structural/geotechnical software;
  • 5 days work
