Position Overview: 

Passion for technology meets keenly managed business processes in the Eaton Rotational Program – Information Technology Cyber Security. This two-year program provides business-minded IT professionals like you with the hands-on experience and leadership skills you need to excel in preventing, detecting, and responding to protect Eaton’s intellectual property brand in a highly complex, multi-technology, regulated and diversified business environment.   

 
Your assignment rotations will provide the opportunity to work at the North America Headquarters campus. The two rotations will focus on responsibilities and projects involving:  log and registry analysis, task-level system administration, system monitoring, threat and vector analysis, task elimination & scheduling, creating technical documentation and standard operating procedures, designing remediation plan activities, raising awareness and providing training to end users, responsibility for technical delivery of vendors and developers, and remediation of advanced persistent threats.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements):
  • Currently possess or will have obtained a Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science, forensics, or cyber security, and/or a degree in Information Technology from an accredited institution, with a graduation date no later than August 2021 
  • Minimum of one internship or co-op experience within cyber security completed at the time of this application 
  • Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (Please do not round) 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship 
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Geographical flexibility to relocate to Cleveland, OH for the duration of the Development Program  
 
Position Criteria:
  • Strong analytical and business process skills  
  • Proven technical ability through coursework and work experience to manage technical systems and analyze network, end point, application, and identity data for signs of malicious activity  
  • Self-motivated and a strong desire to achieve results and improve efficiency and effectiveness of incident response  
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or community  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration and projects
