In this role, you have the opportunity to design and develop novel smart electronic devices in particular for wirelessly connected appliances including cordless power, innovative sensor, algorithms and communication technologies.
You are responsible for
Firmware development & testing, design, architecture, verification & validation, Wifi/BTLE
Closely working together with the HW developer to ensure schematic design, forward/backward calculation, PCB layout, simulation, test, verification & validation in line with the FW development
Electronic product design & implementation
Embedded IoT FW development (C/C++/Java); embedded OS such as FreeRTOS, etc
Graphical displays, capacitive/touch control, novel UI technologies
Connectivity technologies Wifi, BT/BLE, LoRa, 5G, eSim, iSim
You are a part of an interdisciplinary team of hardware and firmware developers committed to innovation in the context of kitchen appliances along the health continuum. Together with colleagues from product research, advanced development, marketing and industrialisation you develop sustainable solutions for the next generation of kitchen appliances including prototypes and functional models.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
FH/TU electronic/mechatronic/communication technology/firmware/wireless
3-5 years of relevant experience (Embedded IoT FW development (C/C++/Java); embedded OS such as FreeRTOS)
Basic knowledge of smartphone/tablet application software (Android/iOS) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google, Alibaba) and techniques/protocols (HTTPS, MQTT, REST)
Analogue and digital electronics design, experience with wireless communication technologies, power electronics
Schematics, PCB layout, development of prototypes and functional models, test, verification
Technology awareness in the domain of wireless connectivity, UI, sensors and AI/ML-algorithm
Team communication, project management, creativity, awareness/affinity to new technologies
proactive way of working and communicating
Openness to new ideas and technologies, pro-active behavior to create opportunities
Very good English skills, good German skills

The minimum yearly salary is equal to € 45.920- / gross with willingness to overpay. The actual annual income is commensurate with the market, your qualifications, and experience.
