Minimum qualifications:
- 7 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- Experience with supplier process and quality system audit.
- Experience with gauge metrology for Cp/Cpk, FAI, Gauge R&R, etc.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience using statistics tools for data analysis.
- Experience in product assembly, inspection and test process development and assessment.
- Experience in mechanical and electrical design for excellence (DFX) (e.g., manufacturability (DFM), design for test (DFT), design for reliability (DFR), etc.).
- Experience with statistic process control techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to work directly with suppliers to solve product problems.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with product engineering teams and suppliers from NPI qualification through production and end of life coverage.
- Participate in duties including auditing, problem solving, failure analysis and issues resolution activities that enhance and maintain supplier-outgoing quality.
- Communicate frequently with regional management and US headquarters in Mountain View.
