Job Description
Responsibilities
Prepare teaching materials during set prep time as noted by the English Department and create original teaching materials each month to match the existing English curriculum.
Ensure English curricula is implemented properly in the classroom and provide feedback to the R&D Department in order to improve it.
Lead English lessons during scheduled times, provide an immersive English-speaking environment .
Monitor student progress and maintain a portfolio for each student and complete standardized forms as set by the English Department.
Maintain good relationships with parents and keep them well-informed about their student’s progress.
Represent and participate at campus, school, and community events as needed.
Adhere to appropriate dress code for working with young students, meeting the requirements set forth by the English Department.
Working hours: 2:00pm-8:00pm Monday-Friday, Weekends :9:30am-6:30pm, 2 days off on weekdays
Age group:3-12 years old
Class size: 6-12 kids per class
Holidays: All Chinese public holidays, annual and sick leaves
Assistance: Chinese teaching assistant provided generally
Locations and environments: Located in shopping mall generally and convenient for commuting
Requirements:
Native English speaker (US/Canada/UK/Ireland/Australia/New Zealand) or Non-native English speaker with minimal accent
Bachelor’s/Undergraduate degree
Minimum 1+ years education experience
Extrovert, active and enthusiastic; Caring, Patient, and love kids
Healthy and Non- criminal record
TEFL certificate (or equivalent)
Location:
Many locations in Shanghai and other cities throughout China, mostly south cities close to Shanghai in Jiangsu and Zhejiang province
Requirements:
Native English speaker (US/Canada/UK/Ireland/Australia/New Zealand) or Non-native English speaker with minimal accent
Bachelor’s/Undergraduate degree
Two years working experience (preferably in teaching)
TEFL certificate (or equivalent) preferred
Salary & Benefits:
17-25K Native, 10-18K Non-Native (depending on qualifications and experience)
Working Visa (Z Visa) Provided
7,000 RMB annual flight allowance
Quarterly bonuses totaling up to 6k per year
Annual leave/sick days + all public Chinese Holidays off work
Accident insurance and annual health check provided
Airport collection & 5-day hotel stay on arrival
Ongoing support throughout entirety of contract
Voluntary overtime available at higher hourly rate
