Tailor made distribution/transportation strategy of different category of Commercial products (CRT, Cold chain, high value, big volume, etc) with considering China geography, customers’ requirement, carrier or 3PL ‘s capability, financial effectiveness, safety / quality requirement and operation efficiency.
To adapt monthly/weekly/daily FG distribution plans to ensure the sufficient capacity to meet customers requirement via closely collaboration with CHA, Finance, Quality, Planning, and Warehouse teams, including dealing with urgent orders and peak sales.
Be responsible for goods transportation within entire domestic transportation network among main WH, external WH, 3rd party WH, National Distribution Centers and Regional Distribution Centers.
Be responsible for Clinical Trial drugs and Unauthorized Medical products distribution to investigational sites or hospitals.
Be responsible for overall risk control during distribution and transportation. To identify potential risks proactively and to establish effective preventive and corrective measures to avoid or minimize the risks.
Be responsible for accidents or emergency handling process. Quick decision and reaction towards emergency. Lead and responsible for entire investigation process for any discrepancies.
Be responsible for 3PL management. Set up KPIs, evaluate actual performance and organize / lead regular performance review meetings with 3PL. Engage and develop 3PLs, leverage the industry’s best practice (both international and domestic) for 3PL’s continuous improvement.
Maintain good relationship with internal and external customers. To appropriately influence and negotiate with CHA and T1 customers for better collaboration with PTSH for the best interest of business.
Review and control transportation cost to manage transportation cost within reasonable level and seek further cost optimization opportunities.
To lead and take part in the distribution process improvement. To improve transportation process effectiveness and efficiency via projects or other initiatives.
Be responsible to establish and revise the SOP. To monitor the routine implementation to make sure all the actions are in strict accordance to requirement.
Be responsible for transportation supplier regular audit with Quality and SHE.
Education/Qualifications
Bachelor degree or above, logistics major preferred
CET-6
Job Required Competencies
5+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical logistics management
Good strategy sensitivity
Good communication and interpersonal skill
Good presentation skill
Good decision making, analytical and problem solving skill
Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
Familiar with ERP system
