Job Description

(Holding a functional title of Field Experience Liaison Manager)

School Partnership and Field Experience Office 

The appointee will provide all-round support to students in the area of field experience (FE) and liaise with local schools/stakeholders and build effective networks to facilitate the University's development in school partnership.  He/She is required to (a) develop, implement and evaluate various partnership schemes and projects to support and promote students’ field experience; (b) handle student issues on FE, student case investigations and reports writing; (c) conduct FE orientations and professional development workshops for students, and training sessions on e-portfolios for academic staff; (d) support the operation of FE tutorial group; and (e) perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of the Office.  The appointee is also required to work closely with other departments within the University, placement schools and other FE related personnel outside the University to promote school partnership. 

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of post-qualification working experience together with substantial teaching experience and/or working experience at the executive level, preferably gained in the tertiary education sector or schools. He/She should also have high proficiency in both English and Chinese, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good analysis and problem-solving skills, attention to details and the ability to work under pressure.   

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. 

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include contract-end gratuity, leave, medical and dental benefits.
