Job Description
THE COMPANY :
- WOVEN FABRIC manufacturer
- Factories : 6 wholly owned factories in China
- Hong Kong office : trading and merchandising office
- We are looking for FABRIC MERCHANDISER – with details as follows :
THE JOB :
- Post secondary education is a plus
- 2 to 4 years experience in woven fabric
- Experienced in fabric sourcing and development for both ladies' & men's fashion is preferable
- Experience gained from manufacturing group is preferred
- Knowledge of fabric weaving/construction, fabric properties, dyeing and finishing process a definite advantage
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Proficient in English, Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
- Provide professional merchandising service to assigned customers
- Follow up production status with fabric suppliers / factories
- Reply email correspondence in timely manner
- Handle counter samples & development in an effective and timely manner for necessary approval
- Coordinate and follow up test reports and monitor quality performance to customer requirements and quality standards
- Report to the Merchandising Manager
- Ensure total customer satisfaction
- No or very few China trip is required
- Candidates with more solid experience will be considered for the post of Senior Fabric Merchandiser (2 posts)
