Position Overview
The Trainer is a position within the Online Teaching Department at ALO7. The main duties involve training content creation and delivery. The training content is intended for use by ALO7 Online Teaching Senior Trainers and Trainers to instruct new and experienced online teachers on how to use the ALO7 tools and content to deliver successful classes to Chinese students. In addition to training, the position entails working with a large team of educational experts to develop cutting edge technology used in both the physical and virtual classrooms. The ideal candidate will be detail-focused, self-motivated, student-centered, and an effective communicator.

uties and Responsibilities
Content Creation and Editorial, 20%
• Create training materials
• Build lesson plans
• Copy edit and proof materials across media, including Word, Excel, PDFs, Flash, and audio files
• Brainstorm ideas and create editorial content

Training, 50%
• Deliver training, both online and offline to other trainers and teachers
• Observe delivery of training to ensure quality and consistency
• Provide feedback on training
• Implement new ways to improve training
• Deliver online demo classes to potential clients
Teaching, Research and Development 30%
• Teach a maximum of 20 class hours per week, including online and in-class time, using ALO7 content.
• Preparation of lesson plans using ALO7 content
• Interdepartmental collaboration on new products with emphasis on teaching aspect
• Integrating the benefits of artificial intelligence into the classroom
• Monitor student progress, input information into the database
• Communicate student progress to parents and others
• Test ALO7 content and regularly prepare notes for internal stakeholders on strengths, weaknesses, and suggestions

Skills
Fluent English speaker
2 years+ experience in ELL and/or young learner education
Experience in proofreading
Great collaborator who is flexible and works well under pressure
Chinese language skills, spoken or written, are beneficial
Content development and/or editing experience
Keen eye for details
A passion for contributing to high-quality, innovative materials that lead children to love to learn
Able to use the Microsoft Office suite of products, PowerPoint, email, and be familiar with apps, digital learning products, and textbooks
