Job Description
Job Summary Finance Analyst addressing the business needs for financial compliance, reporting and analysis. Job Responsibilities Prepare Cost Models for eMobility Quotations. Liaising directly with Manufacturing sites in Hungary, China, India and the US. Also working closely with Product Line Sales Managers & Engineering to provide a quick turnaround of information for decision making purposes. Support Cost monthly budget maintenance / Profit Planning/ Cost by function reporting Month end reporting activities including; journal entries, prepayments, accruals, balance sheet reviews and reporting Review with SCM, inventory for excess & obsolescence and support stock take activity Manages all direct and indirect suppliers, including resolution of invoice queries and account reconciliations. Accountable for the following AP processes: Supplier statement reconciliation Coordinating with the Finance Shared Service centre (FSS) to resolve adhoc vendor queries and maintain vendor information. Ageing review of GRI (Goods Received Not Invoiced) and logged/blocked invoices Supporting the Financial Accountant with adhoc requirements as required; Preparing HMRC and other compliance reporting, including monthly VAT returns, intrastat, statutory accounting, statutory forms, annual tax pack & EC Sales reporting. Comply with statutory, Sarbanes Oxley and Eaton internal policies Other adhoc tasks as maybe required to support the Finance Controller Qualifications Education level required Degree level education Years and area of experience required 3+ years in a large organization, with manufacturing/ engineering experience Technical knowledge Part Qualified CIMA / ACA / ACCA Soft skills Good Communications skills with finance and non-finance colleagues What you will get from us Eaton’s mission is to improve the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services.
